Hello, my name is Bill Walton. Welcome to my
website kj6eo.com. What is a KJ6EO you might ask? KJ6EO is my Amateur Radio Callsign. Amateur Radio is one of my hobbies of which you can read about through the "Ham Radio" link on my main page.
Although I have lived most of my life in California, I
was born in Paducah Kentucky in June of 1958. As soon as I could walk, I was wreaking havoc in my Dads TV and Radio shop. As I became older the damage got worse and worse. Dad was always running me out of his electronics shed as he called it! I was extremely interested in electronics and things that glowed and buzzed.
Around 18 years of age I became interested in
machining. I took a Machinist Trainee position at a
local company which started a 12 year career. |

After a 12 year career as a Machinist, I decided to make a career change. I became interested
in Field Service. Field Service consists of servicing sophisticated machines and or electronic
equipment in the field (away from home). After working in Field Service for a couple of years, I decided that it was time for a fomal education in Electronics. I attended a local Community College near my home in Valencia California. After two years I received my certificate of completion in Electronics as an Electronics Technician.
For the last 10 years I have traveled the world to such places as Japan, Australia, Europe,
Mexico and Central America repairing electronic equipment. For the last 5 years, I have worked for myself through my business Infinity X-Ray. Infinity X-Ray provides service and maintenance for sophisticated Microfocus Radioscopy equipment. I currently live here at my home in Valencia California which is located about 45 miles to the N.W of Los Angeles. At home with me is my wife of 18 years Ada, and my best buddy Mr. Kit my cat. |
